This is a huge value in watches. I have the Model 4 with the sage dial and both brown and black leather straps. I get compliments on it every time I wear it. Feels much more premium than its price because of the applied indices on the dial, sunburst dial, detailing around the edge of the watch. It's really a steal.
I bought a Autodromo Group B at around the same time (a watch that costs about 50% more), and they both arrived at the same time. To be honest, I was more excited for the Autodromo watch and was sort of regretting buying the Hampden. But after opening both watches my perspective totally changed. The Autodromo's dial was sort of flat and printed looking and lacked detail, while the Model 4 oozed quality. I sold the Autodromo but plan on keeping the Model 4 long-term.
I've also really enjoyed working with the Hampden team, they've been super nice and accommodating.
