Six people at a watchmakers bench, building a Swiss mechanical movement by hand under a microscope at Hampden's Chicago headquarters. Hampden CEO Joe Wein leads every session personally. Caseback Engraving
The caseback is where the watch becomes personal. Your program's insignia, crest, motto, and each member's individual serial number - all engraved to permanent depth. Built on the Model I Sullivan platform, the Casecap® system lets recipients choose between their engraved caseback or a sapphire exhibition disc revealing the movement inside.

Packaging

2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) 50-piece limited edition, 2025
When 2/19 Special Forces came to us, they already had field watches. What they wanted was something they could wear at an embassy or a post-retirement ceremony - a piece that represented the organization with dignity and would still be on someone's wrist twenty years from now.
We spent six months developing The Operator with their project lead: a Rifle Green dial with applied indices, a raised Special Forces crossed arrows insignia at 12 o'clock, upgraded Super-LumiNova hands, and a dual-strap delivery in stainless steel and custom Army green rubber. The caseback carried the full unit crest, state symbols for Ohio, West Virginica, and Rhode Island, the Latin motto encircling the design, and each member's individual serial number.
A private pre-sale page was opened to verified members only. Production began once 25 orders confirmed. Assembly was completed in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Final inspection and fulfillment happened at our Chicago headquarters.
