HAMPDEN WATCH 5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY 

Every modern Hampden watch is crafted with care to last for generations.

We proudly stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship with a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, beginning from the original date of purchase.

What's Covered

• Defects in Materials and Workmanship: Any original defects in materials or workmanship are covered.

 What's Not Covered

• Wear and Tear: Damage caused by normal wear, including scratches, dents, and discoloration.
• Accidental Damage: Damage resulting from mishandling, accidents, improper use, or water.
• Quartz: Battery replacement for quartz movements are not covered.
• Mechanical:  All mechanical movements need periodic service and cleaning, which is not covered.
• Water Resistance: Water resistance requires that the crystals, crown, stem, caseback and all gaskets be in place and undamaged, and that water pressure be lower than the rated depth. Any water damage resulting from the failure of any of those conditions is not covered.

Service & Warranty Claims

Service for modern Hampden watches (2025 and newer) is available through the Hampden factory service center.

To begin a warranty claim:

Vintage and Legacy Hampden Watches

Hampden has been assembling watches in America for over a century. We’re honored that so many of our earlier timepieces are still cherished and worn today.

Because these watches were produced long before our modern collections, they are not covered under the current 5-year warranty, and we do not currently offer in-house servicing or appraisals.

For expert restoration or repair, we’re proud to partner with our authorized vintage service partner, Times Ticking. Their watchmakers specialize in historic Hampden wristwatches and pocket watches, offering complimentary estimates and authentic restoration work that preserves each watch’s history and character.

Union and Custom Logo Watches

Union and Custom Logo watches are produced under a limited one-year warranty and are no longer serviced directly by Hampden outside of this window.

While we do not provide manufacturer repairs for these watches, most local jewelers or independent watch repair specialists can assist with battery replacements, quartz movement servicing, or other basic maintenance.

We understand these watches hold personal meaning, and we’re happy to help point you toward a trusted repair resource if needed.
