SULLIVAN 42mm Carbon

Sale price$2,200.00

The Sullivan is our flagship automatic, built around a patented system that lets you switch between a sapphire exhibition caseback and a personalized Casecap®. It turns traditional engraving into a full canvas: a design, a date, or a symbol that matters to you.

The watch takes its name from Chicago architect Louis Sullivan, whose "form follows function" philosophy is the one we build to.

Carbon is a near-black that holds its depth instead of flattening under light. The applied numerals and the polished date frame do the work, so nothing else has to.

Forty-two millimeters on a Swiss Made Sellita automatic. It ships with a steel bracelet, an Italian leather strap, a rubber-lined Italian leather strap, and a Casecap® ready for your design.

Our Inspiration

The Sullivan, named for Chicago architect Louis Sullivan, elevates watchmaking much like he elevated the modern skyscraper. Its patented casecap® becomes a canvas for personal stories, while the sapphire exhibition caseback offers a glimpse of the Swiss movement

YOUR WATCH. YOUR STORY.

Most watches offer the opportunity to engrave a few words. The Sullivan offers an entire canvas.

We've invented and patented a removable Casecap® which transforms the full caseback into space for storytelling. Whether it’s a hand-drawn sketch, a meaningful date, a symbol of identity, or a note from someone you love — this is personalization without limits.

    Love the Sullivan!

I have wanted the Sullivan model for a long time, and I finally decided to purchase it. I had high hopes, but seeing it in person completely blew me away. The craftsmanship is stunning, the design is incredible, and it feels great on the wrist. It easily exceeded all of my expectations. If you are on the fence about getting one, you won’t regret it!

Amazing experience to capture a milestone

I meet these guys at the Wind Up Watch Fair, and knew they had something special. Meeting and working with Joe, Daniel, and Crystal to help tell the story of a career was an amazing experience. This piece has become a prized addition to my watch collection. Quality, feel, and the starter to so many conversations is just part of the fun to something so unique. This watch will ensure memories will not fade and create new ones to build on. Thanks Team!

Love my new 4th generation Hampden watch!!

The look and feel of my Sullivan watch is brilliant! The hands of the watch are unique as well as having the power reserve make this watch fun to wear. Speaking of wearing the Sullivan it comes with three watch straps (1 stainless and 2 leather) which is always fun to switch out and have a totally different looking time piece on my wrist.

The hardest aspect about the Sullivan is deciding what design I wanted on the watch back! With all the options and recommendations from my 2 kids I decided on an iconic comic cover!

The easiest part of the purchase of my Hampden time piece was working With Daniel! Chatting with him live on video was instrumental in the design of my watch back!

I would recommend this watch to anyone who wants a quality time piece, a piece of American history and just a fabulous overall time piece!

    Hampden Watch

Fantastic product and fantastic service! We ordered a Hampden Watch as a gift for our adult son. Hampden's design department worked with us to create a complex and unique design to inscribe on the on the back of the timepiece with a quote from one of our favorite poems. The watch is absolutely stunning, and the personalized inscription makes the watch a jewel that will stay in the family forever. The watch was delivered in a beautiful arrangement befitting the presentation of an important gift.
