The Model 1 Sullivan is our flagship timepiece, featuring a patented innovation that lets you seamlessly switch between a sapphire exhibition caseback and a personalized casecap®. This transforms traditional engraving into a storytelling canvas - whether it’s a design, date, or symbol that matters to you. Inspired by Chicago architect Louis Sullivan’s “form follows function” philosophy, the Model 1 embodies craftsmanship and adaptability, evolving with your milestones.

- Case: 42mm diameter, 12.46mm thickness, 51mm lug-to-lug and 22mm between lugs
- Movement: Swiss Made Sellita 279-1. Automatic self-winding mechanical with ball bearing, 38 hour reserve, 31 jewels.
- Glass: Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Sapphire exhibition caseback.
- Functions: Hours, minutes, small second, power reserve and date indicator.
- Dial: Matte dial with sun-ray embossed small second sub-dial at 9. Applied Arabic index with printed second track and Super-LumiNova Grade A markers at each hour. Skeleton hands with Super-LumiNova Grade A tips.
- Crown: Oversized stainless steel onion crown with embossed Hampden logo.
- Bands: Brushed 22mm wide three link stainless steel bracelet with deployment clasp and easily removable double pin system. Includes two additional straps: Italian leather strap and one Italian leather/rubber strap; easily interchangeable with quick-release (no tools required).

What a beautiful top quality watch my wife got me for our anniversary! It is easily the new favorite and most meaningful watch in my collection. I will enjoy wearing it daily (with the quick release watch bands to change the style) and it will be an heirloom some day (with the brilliant removable personalized plate).

The quality and style of this watch is amazing. The fact that you can create your own custom engraved case back is unreal and switch out accordingly. Wear it with the exhibition back OR your own individual custom back. Easy to pivot.
I chose this skull and added “Time Flies”.
Killer result. Daniel and the Hampden team are doing something really special. Great customer service as well.

Several months ago I set out in search of a watch company that would create personalized watches for my family that could be passed down from generation to generation. I met Joe Wein, the CEO of Hampden Watch, at a Watch and Wind show in Chicago a couple years ago and asked if he had any ideas for a nice 25 year watch for my employees when they reached 25 years of service. Wow, did he ever!
Joe is a 4th generation family member and Chicago based, very knowledgeable and deservedly proud of his products!
The watch comes in different colors, 2 backs (which I had engraved on the one 25 years of service) multiple straps and a killer presentation box!
They turned out spectacular!
Very flexible with helping make it personable, class act as is all the support staff like Crystal!
